Clear bra?
I don't get a result when I search on the word 'bra' so if I should be directed elsewhere would someone please tell me where? I want to know if the professionally applied clear bra has been used successfully on an older car with repaired chips? Has anyone ever heard of a self-applied plastic wrap that can be removed, and if so, does it work? Many thanks!
3M makes a product that is used for the clear bras. It's flexible, bendable and malleable.
It's slightly adhesive, but can be peeled off if it needs to be readjusted during the installation.
I use it to protect the frame of my mountain bike. It comes in various thicknesses. It can be safely applied over paint. Having paint chip repairs shouldn't matter.

I opened this thread with a far different expectation. hahaha.
I was considering getting one of the standard black bras for mine...im a bit nervous getting road rash on the front from my commute every day.

Somehow I expected sexist, misogynist comments about this thread and am so glad all of you are ladies & gentlemen! When and if I do invent a device like sharay describes I will patent it and make sure you folks can get it at a reduced price. Come to think of, has anyone Googled this?
But I digress. Even Toto needs support sometimes. Anyone know what this adhesive plastic is called and where it can be purchased? Thanks for the help (and the laughs to get my day started right!)
