I'm thinking about the later model headlamps with the black interior but can't find a pair of the newer lenses for my 2002.
Is there any way to remove the clear lense from the now chrome reflector? I've opened the housing from the front lense but couldn't see a way to separate the clear lense.
Any help????

 

The lens is just sorta 'sealed' to the rear housing. A heat gun might help separate the lens. I did not have any problem removing mine. The reflecting surface is a vapor deposited coating that will wipe right off if you want to go to the black version.

 

Could you do the reflective surface in the same color as your car then?

 

I believe enderle has done that. His are samphire blue.
