Default Simple Re-Badge for better look.

The rear body badges were worn and the chrome washed away. I removed the old ones with a PLASTIC putty knife. (they just popped off) To get the old glue off, I used Goof Off adhesive remover. Polished, buffed, waxed, and re-applied the new badges. Cost: $93.00

Definitely worth the money and effort. Looks 100% nicer.

Matches that nearly new paint job! I went one further...for $10, I added replica "R" badges (yea, I know, there was no R model in '02, but to the uninitiated, they'll think there's an upgrade under the bonnet).

The paint is original. Perfect carnival red for game day. I prepared the hood tonight for a new jaguar hood emblem. I'll put it on in the morning. The original has some very slight pitting although I have no rust or decay anywhere else. I'll have to see what those R badges look like although I won't use them. I am trying to keep this one completely original.

Dave, the replica badges were EBay specials from China. Omit if you're sticking to original. I couldn't resist, since my '02 is a "reclaimation" project- saving it from either a junkyard or worse, a friend of my wife's.
