Default Common dash / cluster failure point

I am getting current or intermittent (ie cleared and re-set) codes in the BCM for

U2012 Key transponder module corrupt message
B1352 general failure in circuits that are active when the ignition is switched off, but while the key is still in the ignition.
B1595 Ignition switch - Illegal input code BCM thinks something wrong with ignition switch
B1446 Wiper park sense - circuit failure
B1450 Wash/wipe switch circuit failure
B2368 Column adjust switch - out of range (had other column switch messages too)
B1794 Low beam failure (circuit)

The inst pack is also flagging comms issues on the SCP network with
U1260 + circuit failure SCP
U1261 - Circuit failure SCP

Could not get connection with the KTM through the DLC.

Everything indicated works though, and I am not seeing a general SCP network failure which points to a dodgy plug/connection in the vicinity of the steering column. Before I start trawling through the drawings is there a known failure point I should check?

W,
I just took a look. When reading your issues, I thought, whats common here? Ground!?

FC3 (fascia harness connector 3) seems to be common to almost all of your issues.
Search for fc3 if you want to scan diagrams.
Anyway fc3 ground is on left side of tyranny.
John

This may save you time as you scan diagrams.

Thanks Johnken - that's a good idea -though it looks like that ground supplies so much the car would not run without it!
I'll take a look as it is a stack of lines -I'm guessing its just lines on a stud not a splice pack.
Frequent cause of the first code is door chimes (ie key in but off) and they work ok.
There must be a list somewhere of what else is active in key in

Also, check the TSBs on jagrepair.com as there are some instrument clusters board issues for a VIN range. The fix involves re-soldering some key joints. Take the VIN range with a grain of salt, the IC board is probably worth inspecting anyway.

Best of luck, keep us posted.
