Default Compliments on your car

I got what I feel is the best compliment yet on my car today. I stopped to let a very elderly lady cross in front of me. She stopped directly in front of my car, looked at the nose, then up at me and with a huge grin on her face, she gave me a thumbs up! Wish I had a camera for that one.

That is very unexpected indeed! Maybe you triggered her own jaguar memory.

Jen and I were going through the main gate at holloman AFB, with the top down, heading to work and the young airman checking id's looked over the car with a big grin on his face, I was waiting for the nice jag comment but instead got "wow a maserati, never thought I would get to see one!" oh well goes to show that you cannot always count on the brains of some folk!

Nice one

My wife always used to get compliments on her X type and loved the admiring looks......always believing of course they were for her and not the car

When I drove through the main gate of the military base I work at this morning, the sentry checked my identification and said....

So, when can I have my car back?

It's funny how frequently people rubberneck. I get comments on the car all the time. One woman was yelling at me from behind me in the drive thru about what a beautiful car I had. Then, when I pulled ahead I could still hear her talking about it to the drive thru window employee inside.

Getting all the compliments is a cool experience for sure. If only people knew how inexpensive the purchase price of the cars can be... then again, I've dropped at least $5,000 in maintenance since I bought it last year, and there is an easy $3,000-$4,000 that still needs to be done.
