OK, I have several scars that I need to clean up after the previous owner did not care much for my car. I have a few scuff marks on the door sills as to where people did not care to lift their 'hoves'. Question, are these made of S/S? If so, what would you folks recommend to try to buff these light scratches out with? I plan on replacing the sill inserts soon, but Iwant to work on the sills first.

Anyone in or around in Dallas that could recommend a place as to where I can take my center console lid to get it repadded? There is an excellent post on how to do it yourself, but I am way to particular because I can only imagine how I might screw up that one important cosmetic fix. Thanks everyone!

 

You might want to read this thread about polishing the sill plate. I am planning on replacing both plates this spring.
