Does anyone remember the part number on the repair kit? I have the hoses, but wanted to find the kit. Tried a search to no avail.

 

This is what I had copied down, but a search just shows it as a newer version of the hoses. HJB-8256AB

 

The repair kit has been on backorder for several months now: hopefully that is a good thing, and means that the components are being revised or the whole effort is being scrapped entirely.

Of the first 10 or so factory repair kits I sold, two owners found that the splice fittings would not properly seal when installed on their original, deteriorated hoses. At that point I chose to stop selling the kits: 80% sucess rate isn't good enough, in my opinion.
