Default Coolant Leak Again!!!

3 years/12,000 miles back I had my local shop replace thermostat & housing due to leak along with water pump (preventative) and its leaking again.

This a.m. I was checking all before ordering parts and noticed temperature on scan tool rising to 190 degrees and coolant fans not coming on. Thermostat from previous install was a Stant 183 degree. Could this be an indication thermostat is also bad? Running at 1500 rpm with cabin heat on/off.

This time around I'm doing job myself & ordering aluminum housing.

The fans will not come on until a bit over 200 degrees.

Thanks for quick response. Is 200 degrees approximate high end temp for these engines?

No, red line is around 235, but if you are up that high, something is wrong.
