Coolant Leak Again!!!
3 years/12,000 miles back I had my local shop replace thermostat & housing due to leak along with water pump (preventative) and its leaking again.
This a.m. I was checking all before ordering parts and noticed temperature on scan tool rising to 190 degrees and coolant fans not coming on. Thermostat from previous install was a Stant 183 degree. Could this be an indication thermostat is also bad? Running at 1500 rpm with cabin heat on/off.
This time around I'm doing job myself & ordering aluminum housing.
