It's not so much a concept, as an old-school way of identifying race teams. British teams raced in green, French in blue, Italian in red, US in white, etc. There is no actual colour that is BRG - it's just any green-coloured, British racing car. Same applies to all the colours.

Oh MY!!! That is delicious!! I have always liked red and it's variations and buy something in red whenever it's possible. I have the Topas Blue which is nice. Carnival Red may be my fave with White being a close second. Very classy indeed. TM

Amazing how a different shade can change the apparent shape of a car. I've never spotted a white one before - I like it but it's still got to be racing green for me.

Salsa Red is the "drop the mic" color IMHO. But then again I was a bit biased.

I always loved your car and all of your contributions. THANKS

I'm afraid that while I really, really like that color...my driving habits would need to change so much, if I went red. The speed enforcers don't pay as much attention to me in White.

I honestly did not care for the Titanium color at first especially after sitting for over ten years. I would have preferred a darker tan interior as well. But the price was just too good to pass up.

But it sure has grown on me.

I tried to buy a 2007 in Jaguar racing green which was just drop dead gorgeous, (as much as I do not care for the pre 2010 look).

I had a 96 VDP in the same color...absolutely lovely color. I'd buy another if I could find one!

I had a friend that purchased a red one. The first time I saw it was when he picked me up at an airport. I knew then that I had to have one. I couldn't find another red one, so I purchased a black one instead. Black looked classy. A couple of weeks ago my wife saw a purple one for sale locally and wanted to buy it. Purple is her favorite color. Have to say it did look impressive. Fortunately it was sold. Not sure if I could afford the upkeep on two XK8's

Our X100's truly look great in most any color, but I am a tad partial to the Platinum Metallic

Metallic topaz looks the best on the coupe. I may also be a little biased.

Even with the speeding tickets, Jupiter RED gets my vote.

Love my 77 S2 XJ6C in BRG & Biscuit. That said there are at least a dozen shades of the color, which of course started with National Colors for race teams. With no tag available it took awhile to determine my code was HDJ. My 2000 XKR was BRG and much darker.

Another biased BRG fan here, I really think it suits the 'classic' styling of an XK8, but personally I have never really understood the occasional trend of sports cars in Greys and Silvers, I would always chose a colourful(?) colour. Maybe it just helps motivate me to wash them.
