Default covering anti noise and anti heat of car roof

in my car it was necessary to disassemble the interior ceiling because the fabric was unglued and I made an interesting discovery: the tin roof has no protection inside!

now we have applied to the roof plate of the adhesive sheets of rubber and aluminum that will give less temperature inside and less noise.

It is amazing that in a car of this cost there was zero sound deadner in the roof beyond that thin little piece of foam on the headliner. Makes a big difference.

Wish I'd thought of that when I had my headlining recovered by a local upholsterer.

Three years down the line it's starting to drop again and it's a pain to R&R, sigh...

20-20 hindsight.
