Default Custom Stainless Steel Exhausts

Can anyone suggest a stainless-steel exhaust replacement for the XKR 100 that will give the car a deeper rumble and tone without being over loud?

Clive,

I've moved your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST to XK8/XKR forum. Members here with the same model will be able to advise.

You are going to hear a lot of good options from the amazing, if a tad pricy, MacLoed system, to the Mina exhaust system coupled with a custom installed x-pipe, or go full custom like I did.

One pretty easy option is to just bring it to an exhaust shop and just have them build one for you on the spot. I did this for a BMW 635 for less than the cost of a stock OEM system, including a hi-flow cat and resonator. The previous owner of my XKR did the same. You'll want to have them run the pipes "under" the rear suspension, but that alone opens the system up quite a bit. Even with the car lowered an inch, I rarely scrape them and only when negotiating a steeply pitched driveway.

If the shop can't fit the Hi-flow cats, you could start with the Nameless cats and have the shop work back from there.

Just a thought. Like KW said, you'll get a slew of ideas. Learn how to use the search function too - there's mucho info in here already.

Welcome aboard!
