Dash light not working

Dash light not working
Driving home tonight I noticed the dash light(s) for the right side of the speedometer and the lower portion of the gas gauge appeared to not be on. Since they are contiguous, looks like the same bulb lights both areas. Not sure about that.
Do you think a bulb burned out? Could something else do this?
Any ideas?
If it is the bulb, do you have disassemble the car to get to it?
Thank you,
Jack

I recently went through this and posted my experience on another thread:

See post #23.
Anyway the key things I found is that it was not really necessary to disconnect the battery and that the plastic tabs at the bottom of the wood fascia panel are very delicate/brittle and it would be wise to strengthen them when the panel is removed.
