I've taken the plunge and ordered one of WhiteXKR's 3-guage wiring harnesses to convert my pretty useless satnav to gauges. Also found a set of gauges for £20 and dash for £25 so pretty good. Anyway, after seeing the Rev's video on Youtube on removing the dash with an angled metal tool I cam across these on ebay UK:

I think should be kinder to the trim.

I did the conversion on mine recently. As usual the instructions from WhiteXKR are superb, making it very easy to complete.
