Which brings up an observation that I posted here perhaps 7 or 8 years ago in that whenever you seen an XK8/R or XK (newer generation) in a movie, chances are that it is being driven by the character who is the bad guy or total jerk.

I've tried to submit an update that I considered a major omission but it has never showed up in the listings. In the 1960 movie "Twelve Hours to Kill", the star Barbara Eden spends probably seven or eight minutes of the film driving around in a 1959 Simca Aronde Oceane (beautiful woman + cool car = movie worth it just for that) and the car plays a central role as the bad guys are driving around town trying to find her by spotting her very unique car (unfortunately finally spotted at her home, and does not result in a chase scene). For that car, IMCDB mainly just lists a whole bunch of foreign films where it appeared in some background scene. So if a car you're searching for isn't listed or shows few results, don't assume that means it didn't happen. It only means its not in the database.
