Aloha, I have been terrified to take my 2004 XK8 Special Edition Jag Convertible 50,000 miles back to Getzinger Motorworks in Hawaii to repair what they damaged. I previously posted the car was perfect except the starter died. Said they fixed it but after paying $5000.00 it was slow to start n the car died. They said it was gears n needed $2500 to fix.I paid and drove away n noticed gear shift blinking n they had disengaged my gears past drive. Took it back. They said they fixed park to drive.But gears on left side were another $2500.00. Still won't work and they said they fixed transmission not gears so another $2500.00. Now S button is disengaged, Gears worked before but now they don't past drive, Gear shift blinks, ABS , DSC, n no cruise control r lit up, passenger seat won't move and roof grinds n pops to unlatch, brakes vibrate and car is no longer smooth as silk as it was when it went in for a starter replacement. Does anyone know of a good Jag repair place in Hawaii I can send my car to? I could fight them but I am a widow in ill health and I am scared at what they will do next to damage it. I think I have to accept that they do more damage than good and get a loan to repair it elsewhere. If I have to send it to Maui or Honolulu I will. I just want my beautiful smooth Jaguar back. P.S. How or where do I get the Actron Engine check computer n how much is it? Thank you JD
