Default Was Dorchester Grey dropped on later models?

Greetings all - I've recently removed the unsightly front license plate from the grille of my 2006 XK8, and am now working to patch the holes left in the overriders by the mounting screws. I understand that Dorchester Grey was used on the exterior trim for most X100s, but my overriders look darker/blacker than Dorchester Grey. Does anyone know whether the overrider color was different on later X100s, and if so what color code/name I should looking for?

Many thanks

Glen

Hi,
The exterior trim colour changed from Dorchester Grey to a satin black on the later models. I'm not sure exactly when, but certainly before MY2006.

My "rabbits' teeth" are the same colour as these trims, so I'm guessing yours are too? See this thread from SirJohn:
