Hi All,
I had read on the forum that replacing the driver side door module is a major P.I.T.A.
I found out the hard way how true it is. Getting it out is relatively easy, putting it back is next to impossible.
I have tried every combination of inserting the module but for the life of me it does not seem to want to go back in to its original position, I can get close but that is it .
Does anyone possess the secret for installing it?

Look for the cable to where the dm is attached. It is fixed to the inner door panel with one or two white plastic screws, giving you not much leeway to work. You have to remove them to get the cable loose, just push them inside. That will give you the opportunity to connect the dm to the cable more easily. Then work out again the dm into its place and fasten again the cable into their holes with the white plastic screws.
