Back of my driver seat it pretty worn out at the place where seat belt rubs against leather. Curious if there is any way to use back from the passenger side> I know that the release handle is on the wrong side so it would need to be swung over somehow. I would not mind that extra opening on the other side. Anybody tried that?

just go to an upholstery shop and they will know what to do.
either re-apply a dye or change out the leather part.

 

an upholstery shop did mention swapping leather from one side to another, but not the spot that has the back release. Definitely try the dye job from a pro first, if that doesn't suit your long-term approval, look at just having the leather piece replaced. What color you need BTW? I've got DOVE leather left over from my seat project.

 

color code SDC, coffee or tan. i am debating between dye job and replacement from topsonline. since I only need driver side back it is probably $150-200 plus labor from topsonline
