Drivers door window interference w/ rear quarter window
The top trailing edge of my driver's door window has a tendency to fall back as much as one-half to one inch from time to time when it is in the up position, interfering with the leading edge of my rear quarter window. This can be avoided if I help the window forward before closing my door but I am interested to know the proper solution to this problem.

Sounds like your window regulator glass height stop adjustment bolt may be loose. See attached.
It is behind clear plastic film once you remove the door panel and peal away the plastic water shield.

To compliment what WhiteXKR has already provided, there are two videos showing the procedures of how to remove the door panel and how to adjust the window.
