Electrical questions for the pros
1997 XK8
Question 1
What are the wires going to the “Leaping Jaguar” emblem on the front fenders?
Question 2
My XK8 does not have the trunk mounted cd changer. It appears the wiring harness is in the right rear fender. Is it has simple as installing the changer, plug it in to the harness and it will work?

Q1 - Those wires are there incase you decide you want turn signal repeaters. Some markets require them by law.
Q2 - CD changer will plug in and should play fine. Just don't use too long a screw for mounting it to bracket
