Engine Compartment Fuse box EXPERT needed!!!
I am relocating the fuse box in the engine compartment from the driver side to the passenger side for a duel cold air intake. The passenger side cold air piping is no problem. I had to relocate the fuse box on the driver side to the passenger side by the head light to allow the 3 1/2 inch cold air intake to come through left side. The problem is the fuse box has 4 plugs that insert from the bottom, a black, a white, a green and a blue. All wires were soldered and relocated. The blue plug has 7 wires (thick Brown wire with Green stripe, thin Brown wire, thin White wire with Blue stripe, thin White wire with Red stripe, thin Orange wire, thin White wire with Black stripe, and thin White wire with Blue stripe). When I cut the wires from the blue plug I didn't realize they had two white wires with blue stripes. I need to know what these two white wires with blue stripes go to, and in what fuse they connect to so I can wire it up properly. Right now I have a 50/50 chance of getting it wright but if they are crossed would I screw up something important like an ECU. I don't know that is why I need a Jaguar expert. Thanks for any and all advice the members can give me. Can't wait to show pictures.
The white/blue wire at position 1 of the blue connector goes to the wire running to the alternator. If it is disconnected you probably will get a charging fault. This is how you can identify it.
The white/blue wire at position 9 of the blue connector goes to the wire running to the ABS module. If it is disconnected you probably will get an ABS fault. This is how you can identify it.
They are both single point 5A circuits, so if they were swapped the fuse chart would be wrong, but no other harm done.
