Default Engine start after one tensioner R/R?

So by this time (11pm Texas time) tomorrow I will have the right side 2nd tensioner changed and the engine buttoned up. The left side 2nd tensioner is next.
My question is : Is there any reason to start and run the engine before beginning the work on the left side? Should I just move on to the left side and tear it down while it is cool? Well that's two questions. I hope you will indulge me.
Opinions please.
Regards,
Dennis

That was my thinking as well. If there was going to be a problem I wanted to know which side.

I would put a breaker bar on the crank bolt and turn the motor clockwise gently by hand through at least two revolutions, checking that the flats on the cams align at the top and nothing feels to be binding while doing this.

Michaelh,
Your suggestion is the route that I took. Liked the conservative but verifiable smoothness of the pull through.
Thanks for feedback.
