Evaporative emissions canister tubes

Do they just pull out, please let me know if these is a technique to it as I don't want to cause any damage, thanks.

I found this video which helps, it looks like the plug just pulls out.

They should just pull out but like all plastic tubing that has some years on it, it's good advice to go slow and be careful.
