Well after a few frosty nights the local authority started salting the roads overnight, that's it pretty much till the end of February, and sometimes the end of March.

This year I have decided to keep the car off the road for the first time as I seem to be losing the battle against rust.

I expect there will be a few salt free days each month when we get storms coming in off the Atlantic dumping as lot of rain and will try to get the car out then to stop it seizing up.

His and hers tucked up in bed together.

 

Only rain down here so far, but it won't be long before we're in the same situation.
Unfortunately, ( don't really mean that !!) - we have two teenage sons who both drive now so I'm last in the line for the little Peugeot workhorse which is the daily driver.
Mrs DD always takes the Volvo 4x4 as it has heated seats.
