Default Floor mat color match

I'm going to order some of the Lloyds luxe floor mats for my 06 XK8 convertible. Interior code is LEG - warm charcoal with flint as the carpet color. Does anyone know what the best match is with the lloyds mats? They have black, ebony, and medium gray. From the online swatch I'm thinking medium gray, but was hoping someone might have experience.

Thanks

It has been more than five years since I ordered the Lloyd Ultimats for my wife's 2006 XK8, but I remember that there were at least 50 different colors and shades to choose from. Are you certain that you have clicked on all of the available color options for the mats you are considering?

Pretty certain. For the "luxe" mats there are 11 total colors. You're correct, "Ultimat" has 50. The three I listed are the ones that appear to be in the ballpark. There is one other gray that is even lighter than medium gray. Then it gets into blues and tans and burgundies.

Get the Ultimats. Top-notch plushness and quality and as you know, you will be able to come much closer to a perfect color match. My wife's Ultimats still look brand-new after more than five years in her car year-round....

so even with ultimats; same question. Now the choices are black, smoke, and gray (as recommended by lloyds).

I got the BLACK mats from Lloyd's. My leather is dark charcoal and black works well.
The quality is far superior than OEM mats. Super plush pile, easy to wash with warm water and air dry... LOVE THEM

I also purchased the LLoyd's Ultimats in black. 2001 XKR Silverstone dark charcoal interior. Quality mats. I also ordered a trunk mat. I am very pleased with the product.

You can ask Lloyds to send out samples by sending an email to this guy:

Gary Lavender
gary@lloydmatsstore.com

He will mail them out promptly.

I got my samples in just a few days.

Well I went with Lloyds "Smoke" color because to my eye Warm Charcoal looked something less black than black. Turns out black might have been the better bet. I think I they still look okay. They actually match the door panel speaker cover pretty well.

Smoke car mats in warm charcoal interior. 2006 XK8 convertible.
