Forgot To Put The Plastic Backing Strip Back On Inside My Climate Control
I decided to take the climate control apart to check and to replace the bulbs. However I found out the T3 bulbs would fit but the blue covers wouldnt fit. So i just reinstalled the bulbs back until I can find the right sizing. However I forgot to put the plastic backing strip back on in the unit. Is this fine or do I have to put it back in the unit ?

Are you talking about that thin sheet that goes behind the circuit board? If that's what you're talking about it shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't rip it out again just to reinstall that sheet. It's there to keep the back of the board from shorting out against anything, but there's nothing in there for it to short out against. Just reinstall it the next time you have the climate control unit out.

If it makes you feel any better, I forgot to reinstall that same plastic sheet the first time I removed the unit to see what kind of bulbs I needed. After I had it all closed up, but before I put it back in the car, I realized that I had an extra part. I didn't feel that it was necessary, so I just left it out until I removed the climate control unit a second time once I had acquired the bulbs.
