Fuel pump replacement
I have a 2000 XKR and need to replace the fuelpump, I have managed to remove the flange from the top of the tank (with the tank still in place) but how is the pumpheld into the tank?
Any help, photos or diagrams would be appreciated and very useful.

This is how I did my 99 fuel pump.

I leave the battery and spare wheel but I have a large piece of plywood and some 2x4 lumber to slide the tank out onto.
If you damage the 2 fuel lines under the tank, please note that they are NLA.
You WILL have to find good-used replacement lines.
Many have suggested that dragging the tank part-way out with the lines still connected is OK. (IT IS NOT)
You may or mat not get away with it?

I replaced MY1999XKR Coupe pumps through subwoofer hole without removing tank (there is threads about it somewhere here). They are held by 8 or 10mm bolts inside tank. Should be quite easy todo. Small hands will help
