Default Fuel Tank Compatibility

Hello all you smart, knowledgeable folks!

Quick question if anyone might know - I pulled the tank from my '97 XK8 over the weekend. It's rusted to snot inside, and cleaning it really isn't a very good option.

The model is NJA5908PJ
MFG date is 04/97
Single Pump Model
(photo attached)

I cannot find this exact model for sale anywhere, but I am finding quite a few NJA5908PH ones. Some are in very clean shape.

Does anyone know if the NJA5908PH is compatible with mine? From the photos, it *looks* the same but I'm afraid any slight difference might cause it to not fit, or the filler neck not reach or something silly like that.

Thanks in advance!

NJA5908PJ

In case anyone finds themselves in the same dilemma, the answer to my question is attached; NJA5908PH does NOT fit exact to replace NJA5908PJ; for anyone facing the same dilemma, I recommend either matching the part number exactly, or performing a tank cleaning and retaining the original. On the other hand, everything else fit correctly, so it CAN be used, just the filler neck is off. I plan to rig something to hold the neck in place underneath the rubber sleeve, mainly due to the fact that I cannot source this exact part number, not to mention the amount of work involved. I may attempt an electrolysis cleaning approach in the meantime, with the original, but that will take a long time and will never be 100% no matter how long I treat it.

See attached photos, it is bolted in place correctly, but the filler neck is a few inches off. In the photo, I've already bent it back an inch or so just to get it in the filler door area.
