Default gas leak injector rail damper

I have a 2003 XKR with 68000 miles. I am leaking a little gas along the rail on cold startups. I am pretty sure it is the problem of deteriorated o-rings in the dampers on the fuel rail that has been documented so well by MAXDAWG. Is it still the preferred solution to remove the induction system send the rail and injectors to InjectorRX in Houston, have the dampers sealed and reassemble?

Thanks
Dave A.

I just replaced the dampers a few weeks ago, so far so good. At one point you could only buy the fuel rail, but now you can get dampers separately, that's what I did and don't regret it.

Good luck!

Forgot to mention someone else told me about checking fuel pressure sensor easy to get to and worth checking before pulling the top end apart, 2 little o rings inside.

A small gasoline leak will become a major problem if not fixed. I had my dampers replaced earlier this year at an indie shop in Roanoke VA. While they had it opened up I had them replace the knock sensors and all the hoses in that area. All is now well. Money well spent.
