After going for a short drive of about 20miles, I came out from the store about 30 minutes later and the car wouldn't start. Multiple messages: gear box fault, ASC and TRAC not available, fail safe. I have been noticing some ABS faults after I have gone for a drive on the next restart. Seems to be a heat issue. I have been thinking to try the solder fix on the ABS module. Could the ABS module also cause the faults in the gear box and ECU? Unfortunately I didn't save the ECU and Gearbox faults. The gear box was a CAN issue. The ECU was mentioning CAN and anti-theft. The ABS showed C1095 (pump motor circuit) and U2500 (CAN bus error) faults. I've had the C1095 several times, but this was new with the U2500 and other faults. I was able to clear the faults with the iCarsoft LR V2.0 and then start the car and drive home. Glad I had it in the car to diagnose the recent ABS faults.

This is a common problem with the ABS module. You will likely need to get it repaired or replaced.Originally Posted by kenii

Update. I opened up the abs module and re-soldered the pump motor terminals. So far I haven’t had any new faults after putting about 60 miles on the car. A clip on the power connector broke off, but it seems to be holding fine.
