Yesterday I had my ABS box soldered to fix that pesky traction warning. First drive since the repair my transmission acted up slipping & clunking, then showed "gear box fault" I had code p1722 which tells me it's transmission related.Could repairing the abs be directly related to this, I mean it happened almost immediately after?

Any chance the battery is dying or low? At least check it under load.

 

Battery's new & was tested thoroughly prior to the abs repair.
