Matt the badges came this morning thanks for that
However I immeadiately tried to see whether or not I could color code them...... Alas not
It seems they are not plastic but a jelly base which probably explains why they 'mist' up so easy, I even took the original off and gave that a go, but it is made in the same fashion
But all the same I think they are a far better looking badge than the original and if you was to own an Emerald, Sherwood or any green for that fact XK they would be a good improvement.
Cheers

I must admit I was a little disappointed too, we need to find out where Welsh gets them from and see whether or not the manufacturer could be convinced other colours would be a good idea.
I maybe a little biased towards red as I have a bright red XKR but all R badging was red so I will use that as an excuse

Hello everyone,
I know this thread is very old but I wanted to see if anyone could help me locate one of these badges.
I wanted to buy one from Welsh but with the shipping and tax it becomes a $50 item.
I found this on Ebay Jaguar Round Car Sticker Emblem Decal Badge | eBay
Do you think this might work?
Also, if anyone has an extra one of these laying around, I would be very interested in purchasing it directly from you. I live in California.
Thanks!

Back to topic: I see that the ebay link I gave is already sold out. The funny (read, stupid) thing is I had not yet bought one of these, thinking I would first try to clean up the original. Unfortunately, the "clean up" made it look worse and when I went to buy one of these, i saw that the seller is out of them. So, I am still in the market for one of these trunk buttons. If anyone has an extra one, in green, let me know!

Boot Button
While shopping around on the internet for my wish list of new suspension parts, I found a rather small, but very needed item at Welsh Enterprises. Since i've owned my car and detail it almost every weekend in the spring and summer, I've noticed that my boot release button was an ugly black button. Thinking that was normal, I have averted my eyes as much as possible...until I found this! only $15
To install, simply use a small screwdriver to wiggle the entire button from its hole (careful with that chrome) use a little goo-gone to soak on the old button cover, and slide a razor blade edge under it to begin working the old button off. Install is the reverse. make note of how the button goes in, at first I had the tabs going the wrong way, so consider just allowing the new buttons sticky side to rest on its new home, then put the button in the chrome strip, then press it down firmly.
Tell your significant others so it can arrive before Christmas.

Hello H20boy:
I agree with your suggestion. The new button emblem is a definite improvement. Thanks for sharing.
