Ok, adjuster and body shop are on same page, there is damage to bumper so they need to remove to paint.
Question: I think the fog lamps are only replaceable by removing bumper. if this is correct should I go out and buy a new set of bulbs and have bodyman install while they are exposed?? I must assume the fogs are original to the car and are over 15 yrs old.
Thoughts?

Fog lights are easily accessible behind the wheel liners which are easy to remove if the wheel is off. Might even be possible to open just the front end of the liner when the wheel is in place and turned in.
About a broken headlight lens, I had one, too. Ordered a replacement from UK for 130 GBP + tax. Change was a quick removal with the liner off (2 screws, 1 nut and the electric connector, if I remember right). Lens switch required no tools (be careful not to break any of the clips!).
