grease fittings

grease fittings

I have changed out my tie rods and will be installing new ball joints. since they don't come with grease fittings, will it cause a problem to install grease fittings ? thanks

Personally, if they are tapped to accept the fittings I would definitely install them.

I have never seen an upper ball joint with a fitting, and only on some lowers.

Welsh even includes the fitting with their lower one.
