Great to find this forum from a near-death experience caused by googling 'XK8 rust'

Thankfully she must have led a charmed life as I've not found any of the eye-watering array of problems others have encountered.

Sadly there's not much opportunity here to crank the volume up, although I've heard that the limiter will keep me under control

Hope to be able to add some value along the way to help us keep these wonderful yet idiosyncratic cars in good health while I shamelessly blag further knowledge from here.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll take some pics once I've finished my panic splurging of Waxoyl everywhere!
I see you have LED rear lamps in your R - how did you get around the 'bulb fail rear' messages?
