Default Ha... well.....

All that talk of trickle charging and battery health - mine just died completely. RAC coming to put a new one in tomorrow. Car last used very early Friday morning.

Its been below freezing here in central London and the battery is almost 7 years old - so I guess, I'll be good to go with a new one. Hopefully the drain wont happen with a new battery guaranteed 4 years!

Well having said that - the previous owner just told me that he changed the battery 2 years ago which is not so good. I've got on one of those jump starters for emergencies so I guess I'll be kind of semi covered until I figure out how to make sure the cigar lighter socket is live all the time so that I can get a solar trickle charger put in.
