Default Hand brake Cover

I recently decided to replace my well torn hand brake cover with an eBay unit. Now I am trying to find the "key" to getting the old one off and new one on, in one piece.
Can it be done without removing the seat? I am sure Ford had a better idea, but likely involved more than a little effort.

Yes it is removed without taking seat out or anything else.

it’s been so long since I took mine off / on that I don’t remember the steps. But you have to pull gingerly or it will rip.

try a search here, that’s how I learned how it’s done.

I’ll look again and post a PS if I find it first.
PS

be sure read entire thread especially posts #3 and #4 and #5
