Here in the UK we can't celebrate Pi Day because we use the format DDMMYY there's only 30 days in April.

I always find the American date format MMDDYY very confusing!

Speaking of too much time on you hands, I once worked with a guy who carried around in his head pi to 100 digits. What was THAT about?

I agree that it is confusing. Personally, I use YYYY-MM-DD when I think it wise for possible electronic sorting. (eg. the beginning of a file name)

I sent my daughter a Happy Pi Day note and at 9:26 pm she sent back her reply.

Gotta love those math geeks.

On a related note, there is a fantastic pie place in Dallas who's street address is 314.
