I get this clicking sometimes when I insert my key and always when I take it out. It sounds like it is coming from behind the dash, but I am not certain.

I think I remember that I heard / hear some clicking after installing the RealGuage, but it is at a much slower rate, not very loud at all.

Does this happen if the Auto function is turned off on the steering wheel? I wonder if that's the "cash register sound" reported by those whose plastic telescope driver cable snaps on the steering wheel in / out fumtion.

I've had that sound for several years, now. I ASSUMED that it was coming from the motor that moves the steering wheel up and toward the dash when the key is removed. Maybe a solenoid in the system for that feature?
