Yes it is missing and yes they do just clip on loosely, it is just through time they stiffen up. I hate the damn things and have disconnect the wire going to the pump on mine, pathetic idea.

Well when I took them off for the first time they were a bit hard to pull off, now they just about just dangle on. I will have to figure a way to make them stay securely.

I would try Gus's suggestion of the ziplock and see if that works. or heat the tabs and try to get them tighter. I agree with XK Racer, I disconnected mine also, just more junk to go wrong. My car is never dirty enough to warrant them.

Default Any idea on where to buy one for the right side?

The plastic works great as i did the left side but does anyone have any ideas on where to buy one for the right side?

Do you need to buy a cover? Look on E-bay I've seen them for sale individually.

how did this work out for you ? I had the same thing happen with my 2003 xk8 driver's headlight washer; just like you show in your pics. I bought both the plastic piece with the nozzles and the mirrored cover but have not yet installed it.

By the way, both pieces are available from Nalley Jag for about $100 total.
