Headlamp problem
Does anyone know if there is someplace to order the headlamp lens gasket only?both mine leak ,2002 jag XK8. Nothing wrong with my headlights other than they leak . 300 bucks a side seem a bit much . or should I just try silicon? Please help me with suggestions.

Doug, AFAIK the lens/body seal isn't available separately.
I'd suggest that you run a bead of clear RTV around the lens and fix it that way. I haven't done this on the Jag, but had a good result on my son's Golf.

You can clean the mating surfaces with a little methylated spirit or isopropyl alcohol, but note Dave's warning about not touching the reflective coating.
