I have a 2006 xk8 convertible with xenon lights. Problem is the passenger low beam is out, Checked the bulb, switch it with the driver side it is good. I was told it could be a control box the bulb plugs into. 5"x3"x1/2 DIR/5-35watt, name on it Valeo. Can you buy this box only? Has anyone had the same problem and found something else. Also the light lever works, running light and high beam work and fuse good.

Ballast/ignitor
Try our new vendor specialized parts planet...jag salvage and lots of them. It is a pretty reliable part, but anything is possible

 

The only place you will get the ballast module from is a breaker, who might be able to take it from a damaged light unit, when I get back to work on Monday I will check and see if your part number tallys with a MK1 XK xenon unit.

This will give you a broader market to search from.
