Default Heater Hose Junction removel help

I think this is on my 03 on the octopus lines? Is it right between the TB and the expansion tank area? If so mine is leaking, the bottom side after getting driven is damp with anti freeze. Looks easy to get off but for one odd clip or some round fastener I have no idea how to get off?
I am still loosing antifreeze and the smell hot hot burning antifreeze is right below this part, dripping on the exhaust and then gone no I never see any leaks, just can feel the bottom of this part and it is wet. Assume it is cracked?

Or one of the hoses going to it is leaking and running down and dripping off at that point.

I will check that but all the hoses are dry. I will wipe all of it down and drive it and see what is happening. I was hoping that part could be bad, I don't want to attack the octopus hose repair. Cause it O do that then I may as well do the heater core hoses then I may as well do the heater control valve thing while I am in there.
