Help! my 99 wont go EDIT 2/20/08 coner windows
99 XK8
So i just changed my brakes, oil change,couplingand transmission mount and now my car starts but it doesnt go when i press on the gas. on the message center it says stability control fail and failsafe engine mode what should i do and check?

my 99 is convertible and now my coner windows wont go up my covertible is up and the latch is locked. i play with the convertible switch and the front windows go down half way. so is there a reason why my coner windows arent going up?

lol....glad it is working. However, if the light comes back on, drive somewhere and get it scanned and try to not shut off the vehicle while light is on. Then post results of the codes that they pull and we will help identify fault.
Dealer, or somewhere like autozone will be best bet to get codes read. You may want to do it anyway just to be safe.
