Hi fellow XK8 owners, when I insert the key into the ignition switch, the steering column will return to my preset tlit-reach position only 20% of the time. Please advise how to fix this annoyance.

 

You can search the forum and find a lot of information, however, there is not a consensus of what fix is most reliable. Here is a link to a thread on the subject. It is long, and I advise reading the entire thread. Since my most recent post within this thread explaining my resolution, I have had zero problems.
