Homelink Garage Door Opener Wont Pair
Hi guys - Trying to program my wife's new 2019 Cayenne.
I did some research and found the same steps that fail in another thread here on Panameras. The fail mode is EXACTLY the same so I copy/pasted/edited the text below as it is exactly what happens to me:
Tap the on-screen option for "Configure Button 1"
Press and continue to hold the button of my handheld garage door spring repair Virginia Beach VA, waiting for completion
The car would eventually tell me it had FAILED, on-screen, never completing this first step
In other words I can not get past the first step of pairing the original clicker to the car.
It goes into the dealer Tuesday for an unrelated matter so if I can't figure it out I will have them look into it.
Related question: Does the car need to be physically "away" from the garage door during this process? I was parked out front, and gave the neighbors much amusement I am sure as my Garage Door went up and down several times this afternoon.
