Default HOw to 02 sensor change tips?

Hi
Looks like I might have an 02 sensor change in my near future. To do the pre-cat sensors, JTIS tells me to put the car on a lift and move the front muffler out to the way.
Just wondering if there are ways to remove the upper sensors without unbolting the exhaust, or in general any tips regarding this change. I've searched the forum and how-tos, and come up blank.

Not having a lift I'll be doing it on axle stands - I wonder if it can be done with two (at the front).

Probably won't be for a couple of weeks but it would be good to know what to look out for!
Cheers
Mike

It is easy to change the upper ones from the top of the car.

See here, I eventually got my new one from Eurocar Parts for ~£70 after failing with cheap ones from ebay and second had ones that were faulty.
