How can I restretch fabric on interior drivers side windshield panel?
I have a 2000 xk8 convertible and the fabric on the drivers side interior panel to the left and adjacent to the front windshield is loose. How can this panel be removed so the fabric can be reapplied correctly and the panel reinstalled?
Thank you,
Brian
Thank you,

The fabric is deteriorated and will need to be replaced.
The foam backing is GONE and gluing it will make a MESS.
Remove the 'A' pillar trim piece and recover with appropriate fabric. (throw the old fabric in the trash)
I would cover BOTH to get a correct match.

There was also a thread awhile ago that I can't find where someone actually washed, gently and ironed the existing material after removing and then reglued it on. Came out great!
