How Many Have Recaro Seats
My 04 XKR Convertible has Black Recaro's. Very comfotable to me and no squeeks. I just fed them with Connely Hide Food (now called Connely Hide Care) which I've used for 35 years. I highly recomend it for keeping your seats supple.
Interesting, I had no idea about these as an option. I have alcantara Recaros in my similar-vintage Audi S8 and they are hands-down still the best seats I've ever sat on in a car. Passengers frequently get in for the first time and go 'whoa'. Instant comfort, perfect support, everywhere. Sliding leg bolsters are the best for we long-legged types.
Instead of replacing the hides on my XKR as needs to be done soon, I may be on the hunt for these instead...

Well, rather interesting, I was expecting more replies for : yes I have the Recaro seats. Thus far only three as original equipment and all in Ivory color. So, baring a lot more positive replies I believe we can consider the Recaro seat option to be rare indeed. I would have to agree in part on the comfort issue. I find the backs to be comfortable but the seat bottom proper needs additional cushioning. When I have the drivers seat redone I plan to have an orthopedic gel pad installed. I think that will make a considerable improvement, particularly on long drives.
Cheers!
