Tried to hitch-hike Rev. Sam's thread asking for milage. Didn't get much of a reply so I'm starting my own thread. I'm getting very close to the 100K mark. I would like to know how many '98 XK8 owners, with over 100K, still have the original engine,trans., and conv. top hoses? Jack

 

1997 coupe, original engine, rebuilt transmission, NO top hoses!

 

104K miles with same engine and transmission. Knock on wood.

Hoses for the top, replaced at 93K miles.

 

Not yet over 100 (just hit 80k miles), 02 xkr coupe, so far so good!

Edit: I just reread your question, guess I'm not a 98 or an xk8 but I'll share anyways hehe

 

Not a 98, but close.. 99 convert, rebuilt trans, original engine, LOTS of replaced smaller bits. 110K and rising.

 

I have 101K, and the engine, tranny, and hoses are all original. About the only things that aren't original are some bushings and filters.
